ECER Tampere 2026

Representatives of the ACT4Mig project presented the project’s findings at the international ECER 2026 (European Conference on Educational Research), held in Tampere, Finland, from 18 to 21 August 2026.

Their presentation focused on the results of an international survey among teachers from the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, and Ukraine concerning their experiences with the education of migrant and internally displaced students. Particular attention was paid to the challenges teachers face when working with these students and to their needs for support and further professional development.

Participation in ECER provided an opportunity to present the project’s findings to an international academic audience and discuss them within a broader European context.

Act4Mig: Czech and Ukrainian Teams Meet to Advance Course Development

The development of the Act4Mig online course is moving forward at full speed. As the programming and implementation of the course in the Moodle environment continues to make remarkable progress, representatives of the Czech and Ukrainian teams met to coordinate the next steps of the project.

A key topic of the meeting was the upcoming collaboration with the Lviv National Academy of Arts, whose artists and students will contribute to the course by creating original visual artworks for the introductory sections of the modules. This cooperation will add a unique artistic dimension to the learning experience and help create an engaging and inspiring environment for future participants.

We are excited about this interdisciplinary partnership and cannot wait to see the final results. Stay tuned for more updates as the Act4Mig course continues to take shape!
